Role Overview

In this role, you will develop and maintain connectivity test automation infrastructure supporting Wireless Connectivity Solutions (WCS) products. You will design and build system validation environments and comprehensive test suites to ensure product quality and reliability.

The position involves close collaboration with Architecture, Design, and Pre-Silicon Validation teams to enhance post-silicon automation frameworks, improve test coverage, and provide debugging feedback. A broad understanding of system-level interactions is essential for success in validation and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain connectivity automation infrastructure.
Design and build system validation environments and test suites.
Enhance post-silicon automation and improve test content.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient debugging.
Contribute to validation methodologies and automation best practices.

Qualifications

Programming & Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Python (intermediate to advanced).
Experience with Android application development, including ADB shell, Android SDK APIs, and UI automation.
Working knowledge of C, C++, and Linux shell scripting (preferred).
Understanding of networking concepts: IP, SSH, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, remote access, and network bridging.
Experience designing and developing automation frameworks (PyTM experience is a plus).
Proficiency with Git (repository cloning, commits, version control workflows).
Experience working in Windows and Linux environments, including shell commands and scripting.
Familiarity with YAML format in Python (added advantage).
Experience porting automation frameworks and mapping test use cases (preferred).

Domain Knowledge

Understanding of Bluetooth fundamentals, architecture, and protocols (preferred).
Hands-on experience configuring automation setups across different network topologies.
Experience with Ellisys Bluetooth sniffers, attenuators, and access points (beneficial).
Experience with Wi-Fi technologies including SSID configuration, access points, ping, and iPerf.
Strong understanding of test engineering principles, validation methodologies, and debugging techniques.
