Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior PHP Developer to build, test, and maintain scalable web applications. This role requires strong foundational knowledge in PHP and a commitment to writing clean, high-quality code.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel
Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices
Collaborate with frontend developers using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Manage code using Git version control and follow proper workflows
Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability
Debug and resolve application issues with efficient problem-solving approach
Ensure proper documentation and code quality standards
Participate in code reviews and development discussions

Requirements

At least 1.5 years of experience in PHP
Experience with third-party API integrations
Understanding of authentication and authorization systems
Knowledge of database optimization and query performance tuning
Familiarity with REST API standards and best practices
Ability to handle multiple modules or projects simultaneously
Understanding of basic DevOps or deployment workflows
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Ludhiana, Punjab.
