Role Overview

Join our Finance Technology group to build big data and machine learning applications processing billions of dollars in daily transactions. We utilize the latest technology, including Generative AI and Large Language Models, for fraud detection and to drive efficiencies across Amazon's finance operations at a massive scale.

Responsibilities

Participate in all parts of the software development process, from customer collaboration on design to scalable execution.
Detect fraudulent transactions and vendors by applying machine learning techniques.
Develop robust ML pipelines to process terabytes of data and billions in transaction value.
Collaborate closely with machine learning scientists, fellow software engineers, and finance teams.
Test innovative ideas in production environments dealing with real financial data.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of experience in design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
