Role Overview

Birlasoft, a global leader at the forefront of Cloud, AI, and Digital technologies, is seeking an experienced Subcon - Thingworx & Windchill Developer. This role requires deep expertise in PTC Windchill and ThingWorx customization, solution design, and integration within an agile development environment.

Responsibilities

Perform Windchill Customization and Debugging based on solution designs.
Develop and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, JSP, and JavaScript within the Windchill framework.
Develop and customize applications using the complete PTC’s ThingWorx suite, including ThingWorx Composer, Mashups, and Widgets.
Integrate ThingWorx with Windchill and third-party applications like ERP using REST services and Odata.
Utilize source management tools such as GITHUB and SVN.
Participate in software testing, maintenance, and performance tuning.
Apply strong product development methodology, including agile methods.

Requirements

6 to 8 years’ experience in PTC Windchill and ThingWorx customization.
Experience with recent versions of Windchill (e.g., Windchill 11, 12, 13.1) and ThingWorx (e.g., ThingWorx 9.7).
Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, Shell scripting, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
Very skilled in PTC Windchill - PDM Link customization, XML, and Database (SQL) programming.
In-depth knowledge of Windchill implementation in basic modules (BOM Management, Part Management, Document Management, EBOM, MBOM).
Experience with ThingWorx Platform Entities (Infotables, Things, Thing Shapes, Mashups, etc.).
Knowledge of AWS IoT Connector integration with ThingWorx.
Experience with tools like GIT, Jira, and Postman Tool.
Basic knowledge of UML and Unix - administration is required.
Experience in Upgrade & migration is an added advantage.
