Role Overview

Sopra Steria is inviting applications from 2025 batch B.Tech/BE graduates for the role of Engineer Trainee. This opportunity is designed for fresh graduates who are passionate about technology and eager to build a career in software development, digital services, and IT consulting.

As an Engineer Trainee, you will undergo training and gain hands-on experience in modern technologies, development methodologies, and enterprise solutions. You will collaborate with experienced professionals while contributing to real-world projects that support business transformation for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in technical training programs designed to develop core software engineering skills.
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions for client projects.
Learn and apply modern software development tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Support project teams in delivering high-quality solutions within defined timelines.
Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay updated with emerging technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduating in B.Tech/BE (Computer Science or Information Technology) in the year 2025.
Minimum 70% marks in Class X and Class XII.
Minimum 60% marks in graduation across all semesters, including optional subjects.
No active backlogs at the time of application.
Maximum academic gap allowed: 2 years.

Selection Process

Online Assessment – Technical and aptitude evaluation.
Technical Interview – Assessment of programming knowledge and technical fundamentals.
HR / Final Interview – Evaluation of communication skills, cultural fit, and career goals.

Each stage of the selection process is eliminatory, and candidates must successfully clear each round to proceed to the next stage.
