Associate – Software Testing & Quality Assurance

The Firmwide Resiliency Office is dedicated to strengthening the organization’s ability to respond effectively to a wide range of operational and technological threats. Through a data-driven and risk-based resiliency program, the team focuses on building robust systems and processes that ensure business continuity and operational stability.

The Application & Tool Support Team works on maintaining and enhancing critical applications by ensuring high-quality software releases, efficient testing processes, and reliable system performance.

Role Overview

The Associate will be part of the Firmwide Resiliency team and contribute to the Product Quality Management function in Mumbai. The role focuses on promoting testing excellence by developing and executing both manual and automated test strategies for the ERMA (Enterprise Resiliency Management Analytics) product.

This position emphasizes the use of modern testing tools, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted techniques to improve quality assurance processes and deliver reliable software releases.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute manual and automated test cases using tools such as Cypress, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
Create end-to-end testing strategies to ensure efficient and timely execution of test scenarios.
Leverage AI tools to generate acceptance criteria, automated test scenarios, and large-scale test plans.
Collaborate with product teams to understand release scope and develop release-level testing plans.
Execute testing activities prior to user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify and report defects early.
Work closely with developers and product teams to validate new features and ensure functionality meets requirements.
Validate testing outcomes and present test results for internal approval and release readiness.
Partner with operations, product owners, and technology teams to identify defects early in the development cycle.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Experience with software testing methodologies including Unit Testing, Quality Assurance (QA), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience using JIRA for issue tracking and project management, including knowledge of JQL.
Understanding of change implementation processes and release testing workflows.
Experience with automation tools and object-oriented programming concepts.
Hands-on experience with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, or similar testing tools.
Knowledge or experience working with Generative AI and Large Language Model tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and bring assignments to completion.
Experience running automation in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) environments.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Positive attitude, self-motivated approach, and ability to adapt quickly to changes.
