Role Overview

At CommerceIQ, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and releasing high-quality software features that directly impact revenue and margin growth for top global brands. You will take ownership of your features, ensuring they are built for scale, reliability, and high availability.

Working within a collaborative Scrum team environment, you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle while contributing to technical discussions, design reviews, and mentoring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Development & Ownership

Develop, test, and release high-quality features within defined timelines.
Design scalable and highly available systems with performance in mind.
Take full ownership of assigned features and drive measurable customer impact.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

Work closely with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure engineering excellence.
Mentor and support other developers within the team.
Actively contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle as part of a Scrum team.

Required Experience

1–3 years of experience designing and developing complex, scalable software modules.
Strong experience in Java development with exceptional object-oriented programming skills.
Proven expertise in software system design and problem-solving.
Experience with distributed transaction-processing systems or asynchronous messaging technologies.
Understanding of system performance trade-offs, load balancing, and engineering for high availability.
Commitment to building quality software with end-to-end ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of enterprise information systems, service-oriented architectures, and operational data stores.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
