Introduction

The organization is hiring an Intern – Full-Stack Developer to join its development team and contribute to eCommerce web applications. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with foundational frontend skills and a growing interest in backend technologies, Shopify development, and full-stack engineering.

As an intern, you will work on developing responsive interfaces, integrating APIs, customizing Shopify storefronts, and supporting full-stack application development using technologies like React, Next.js, Node.js, and MERN/MEAN architecture. The role provides mentorship, structured learning, and practical industry experience in modern web development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

Develop and optimize responsive user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Implement interactive UI components with DOM manipulation techniques.
Create clean and accessible layouts following semantic HTML practices.
Ensure responsive behavior across devices and browsers using modern CSS techniques.

API Integration & Application Functionality

Integrate APIs using Fetch, Async/Await, and REST-based communication.
Handle frontend-backend communication and JSON data processing.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues effectively.
Improve overall application performance and usability.

Shopify & eCommerce Development

Work on Shopify storefront customization and feature enhancements.
Understand Shopify theme structures and Liquid templating basics.
Contribute to end-to-end eCommerce application workflows.
Assist in building seamless online shopping experiences.

Full-Stack Collaboration

Assist in building full-stack features using React, Next.js, and Node.js.
Collaborate with developers, designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
Participate in version control workflows using Git.
Support backend logic, APIs, and server-side integrations.

Required Qualifications

0–6 months of experience or strong academic/project exposure in web development.
Intermediate knowledge of HTML, including semantic structure and accessibility basics.
Intermediate understanding of CSS, including responsive design, Flexbox, and Grid.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and API integration.
Understanding of Async/Await, Fetch API, and debugging techniques.
Basic familiarity with Shopify theme structure and Liquid templating.
Understanding of eCommerce workflows and web application architecture.
Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
Exposure to React, Next.js, and Node.js fundamentals.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON data structures, and frontend-backend communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on academic or personal eCommerce projects.
Understanding of responsive and cross-browser development principles.
