Role Overview

The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications with a primary focus on backend development. The role involves writing clean and efficient code, applying object-oriented programming principles, and troubleshooting technical challenges to ensure the reliability and scalability of Unaati’s platforms.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while continuously improving system performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable software applications and backend systems.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best development practices.
Apply object-oriented programming principles to develop reliable and scalable solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within software applications.
Improve existing systems by performing upgrades and fixing bugs to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet development goals and project timelines.
Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science with knowledge of software development and programming.
Proficiency in backend web development and object-oriented programming (OOP).
Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable software systems.
Ability to write, test, and debug clean, efficient, and scalable code.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with modern development tools and frameworks is considered an advantage.

Work Location

This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, India.
