Role Overview

GE Aerospace is offering an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Intern to join its engineering teams working on advanced aerospace turbomachinery systems. During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience while contributing to the design and analysis of innovative aero-engine components.

The internship program runs for approximately 2 to 3 months and provides students with the opportunity to take ownership of a meaningful engineering project. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers and technologists while gaining practical exposure to real-world aerospace engineering challenges.

The John F. Welch Technology Center in Bengaluru, established in 2000, serves as GE Aerospace’s multidisciplinary research and engineering hub in India. Key Responsibilities

Work on one or two engineering projects aligned with your technical expertise during the internship period.
Develop and strengthen technical knowledge in aerospace engineering concepts and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to innovative aerospace solutions.
Receive mentorship and technical guidance from experienced engineers and technologists.
Present project progress through technical presentations, reports, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
Strong analytical thinking and engineering fundamentals.
Self-motivated and proactive approach toward project execution.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a global work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of structural mechanics, finite element methods (FEM), or mechanical design.
