About the Role

Prophecy is seeking an enthusiastic SDET Intern (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join its India engineering team. This internship offers a strong learning opportunity for early-career engineers who want hands-on exposure to modern testing practices while working on a high-performance, production-grade product.

The role is designed for individuals who are curious, eager to learn, and interested in building a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers and mentors, contributing directly to product quality and reliability.

Internship Duration

Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

Write, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure product functionality and reliability.
Perform manual testing and gradually learn automation tools and testing frameworks.
Collaborate with software developers to identify defects early and ensure quick resolution.
Take ownership of small testing initiatives or components under guidance.
Apply testing best practices to improve overall product quality.
Continuously enhance technical skills through mentorship and real-world problem solving.

Required Qualifications

0–1 years of experience in software testing or software development (fresh graduates are welcome).
Strong programming fundamentals in Java, Python, or similar languages.
Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
