Role Overview

At SAP, we are seeking a Cloud Native DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Manufacturing team. You will be instrumental in building and operating secure, reliable cloud infrastructure for our SaaS solutions, focusing on Kubernetes-based platforms. This role requires a strong commitment to automation, reliability, and continuous improvement within a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Build and operate secure, reliable cloud infrastructure for SaaS solutions using AWS or Azure.
Support Kubernetes-based platforms running Digital Manufacturing services.
Develop and maintain Tools, automated deployment and release pipelines using CI/CD.
Improve system availability, performance, and operational reliability.
Enhance observability, monitoring, and incident response capabilities.
Collaborate closely with developers and architects.
Participate in on‑call rotations for releases and production incidents.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Expertise in Kubernetes, cloud networking, and security.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience of Git workflows, networking, and security fundamentals.
Experience troubleshooting distributed systems.
Cloud Native mindset with focus on reliability and risk reduction via Automation.
Strong collaboration skills and willingness to learn and AI Ops usage.
