Role Overview

The Associate Software Engineer is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of software applications. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world engineering challenges while working alongside experienced team members.

You will collaborate closely with senior engineers to learn and apply best practices in software development, coding standards, testing strategies, and structured problem-solving approaches. This position is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to build strong technical foundations and grow within a supportive, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Collaboration

Collaborate with team members to understand, analyze, and document software requirements.
Assist in coding, debugging, and testing software components and new features.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Contribute to improving coding standards and development processes.

Testing & Issue Resolution

Troubleshoot and resolve basic software defects and performance issues.
Support testing efforts to ensure reliability and quality of applications.
Document learnings and create repositories for team reference and knowledge sharing.

Continuous Learning & Growth

Continuously learn and adapt to modern technologies and evolving development practices.
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to improve product functionality.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training with 0–1 years of experience.
Fresh engineering graduates with degrees in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, or related branches with a minimum 60% aggregate.
Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, Swift, JavaScript, or similar.
Basic knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior internship or project experience in software development.
Awareness and understanding of Agile principles and practices.
