Full Stack Developer – Big Bang Boom Solutions (BBBS)

Big Bang Boom Solutions (BBBS) is a Chennai-based deep-tech defence startup focused on building indigenous defence and security technologies. The company operates as a defence solutions integrator that develops advanced systems in areas such as artificial intelligence, unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and drone technology, electronic warfare, material science, propulsion systems, communication technologies, and data security.

BBBS aims to create cutting-edge intellectual property for national defence applications. The organization has successfully participated in multiple iDEX challenges organized by the Indian Ministry of Defence and has received government grants and contracts for developing innovative defence solutions.

The company develops advanced products including anti-drone defence systems, see-through armor interfaces, smart surveillance platforms, and other specialized defence technologies designed to strengthen national security capabilities.

Role Overview

Big Bang Boom Solutions is looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer to join its engineering team. In this role, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-performance systems for defence and security solutions.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of backend and frontend technologies, along with the ability to design RESTful APIs and integrate them with dynamic user interfaces. Candidates should be passionate about learning new technologies and contributing to innovative defence-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python (Django/Flask) and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with modern front-end interfaces.
Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best software development practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
Participate in application design discussions and contribute to system architecture improvements.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

Back-End Development: Python, Django, Flask
Front-End Development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Angular
Databases: MySQL, MongoDB
Version Control: Git
Tools & Technologies: Message brokers, Redis, Postman, and web servers

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
0 to 1 year of experience in full-stack software development.
Strong understanding of MVC architecture and API design principles.

Preferred Attributes

Exposure to asynchronous programming concepts.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in Hindi.
Willingness to travel to different locations for trials and demonstrations.

Additional Requirements

1+ year of hands-on experience with Python programming.
1+ year of practical experience working with the Flask framework.
