About the Role

We are currently seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) + Associate Instructor – Frontend to join the Computer Science Department. This hybrid role is designed for professionals with industry experience who are passionate about Web Development and dedicated to shaping the next generation of technology talent.

The position blends hands-on technical expertise with academic responsibilities, including designing and delivering course content, conducting practical lab sessions, mentoring students, and collaborating with academic leaders and industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance and strong learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Course Development & Delivery

Design and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React.js, TypeScript, and React Native.
Create structured course materials aligned with industry standards and academic objectives.

Lab Management

Conduct and manage hands-on lab sessions to provide students with real-world coding experience.
Guide students in applying theoretical concepts to practical development tasks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with faculty members, researchers, and industry partners to continuously enhance the curriculum.
Align academic content with current industry trends and evolving technologies.

Academic Excellence & Student Success

Mentor students in project work and technical skill development.
Support academic growth by providing constructive feedback and guidance.

Stakeholder Engagement & Innovation

Collaborate with university administrators and Newton School representatives to drive innovation initiatives.
Encourage student participation in research activities and industry collaborations.

Required Qualifications

0–2 years of experience as a Software Developer with a focus on Frontend Development.
Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, React.js, and Angular, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Strong understanding of frontend development concepts, including user interface design, performance optimization, and modern frameworks.
Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts in simple and engaging terms.
Adaptability to learn and teach core computer science subjects.
B.Tech or M.Tech in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior teaching experience at undergraduate or graduate levels.
Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and academic tools.
Experience in software development and system design.
