Role Overview

LumiJobs is looking for a motivated Full-Stack Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers the opportunity to work on a live AI-powered career platform, contributing to both backend and frontend development. You will collaborate closely with the founding team to build, test, and deploy features used by real users.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.
Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
Work with PostgreSQL databases to store, manage, and retrieve application data.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
Participate in feature development, testing, debugging, and deployment.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following development best practices.
Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality product features.

Requirements

Good knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
Experience with React.js or Next.js.
Understanding of REST APIs and SQL databases.
Familiarity with Git and version control.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with FastAPI.
Knowledge of TypeScript, Docker, or cloud platforms.
Experience building personal, academic, or freelance full-stack projects.
