Role Overview

We are looking for an Automation Engineer with strong experience in OTA Test Automation, Android ecosystem, and Python-based automation frameworks. The role involves developing and maintaining automation pipelines, UI automation, device testbed management, and end-to-end testing for Android/Pixel devices.

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining automation pipelines.
Performing UI automation.
Managing device testbeds.
Conducting end-to-end testing for Android/Pixel devices.
Experience with Device Flashing & Validation.
Testbed Maintenance.

Requirements

5+ years of automation testing/development experience.
Strong Python programming skills.
Experience in OTA Test Automation.
Expertise in Android ecosystem and embedded/system domains.
Experience with:
- UI Automation
- E2E Testing
- Automation Framework Development
Strong understanding of:
- Android device release lifecycle
- Network testing (WiFi/Cellular)
- Data persistence & interruption testing
Experience with SQL backend and reporting pipelines.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Good To Have Skills:

Experience with Google DTC framework.
Knowledge of Piper.
Experience with MobileHarness.
Exposure to Pixel hardware testing.
CI/CD pipeline experience.
