About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Associate Engineer – Product Engineering to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will contribute to the development of NextGen SaaS products by applying software engineering best practices and collaborating with experienced engineers.

This position is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience who are eager to build strong technical foundations, work on real product features, and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and maintenance of software modules, APIs, and automation scripts.
Support senior engineers in writing, debugging, testing, and optimizing code.
Learn and adhere to coding standards, documentation practices, and deployment processes.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and team discussions.
Perform basic database queries and updates under supervision.
Work on assigned components that contribute to larger product features and enhancements.
Document technical learnings, reusable code snippets, and workflow processes.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data management and SaaS product engineering.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 0–1 year of experience.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with common data formats and structures such as CSV, JSON, and XML.
Basic understanding of at least one programming language: .NET, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of data integration tools and DevOps practices.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and RESTful services.
