Role Overview

This role involves developing and implementing high-quality, enterprise-grade User Interfaces (UI's) and APIs. The specialist will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and operational support, while actively contributing to team decision-making and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Participate in development & implementing high quality application, enterprise grade and usable User Interfaces (UI's) and high-quality API's.
Collect requirements and specify the functionalities to be implemented from end users and Product Owners.
Implement, test and deliver functionalities according to standards and following the Continuous Integration process.
Provide support on day-to-day operations supporting Defect, Problem, and Crisis processes.
Be an active member of the team in terms of decision making and process improvements.
Contribute to the team continuous improvement through communication, documentation and automation.

Requirements

Experience: 5 - 8 Years of experience.
Mandatory skills: Java, Spring Boot, React, Typescript, Bootstrap, CI/CD, HTML, CSS.
Must have skills: Java 8 or above (preferably Java 11 for API development).
Experience on React framework, preferably with Typescript and hands-on with Jest framework.
Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and microservices.
Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and strong object-oriented programming skills.
Hands-on experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
Experience with HTML/HTML 5, CSS Modules, Bootstrap, Typescript, JavaScript.
Knowledge/experience on PostgreSQL database.
Knowledge and experience working with API’s (REST).
Experience working on containers – Kubernetes / Docker.
Version control using Git/GitHub, Continuous integration using Maven & Jenkins.
Familiar with TDD & BDD Practices.
Awareness on Devops focusing on implementing and maintaining CI – CD pipelines, Monitoring and Logging tools.
Strong understanding of Agile practices, roles and methodologies, and experience in Agile best practices (TDD, BDD, Refactoring and Clean Code).
Strong understanding of CD practices & tools (JIRA).
Good background on preparation and performing functional/manual testing.
Ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria & test cases.
Good to have exposure to Investment banking domain, Dashboards/charts, implementing security in web applications, Openshift / Azure, and Business Intelligence tech stack (eg: MSBI/ Tableau /Power BI).
