Role Overview

As a Software Engineer for Adobe Express, you will design and develop scalable, high-performance components and services. You will contribute across the stack, building reliable and maintainable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams across geographies.

This role requires strong frontend and backend expertise, a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, and the ability to independently develop, test, and deploy production-grade code.

Key Responsibilities

Develop components and services for Adobe Express.
Write high-performance, reliable, testable, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Develop, test, and deploy production-ready features.
Collaborate effectively within a fast-moving development team.
Engage with customers to identify problems, test ideas, and refine workflows.
Work cross-functionally with global Adobe teams.
Provide constructive feedback and support team growth.

Required Qualifications

Strong computer science fundamentals.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, and NodeJS.
2+ years of experience building and maintaining complex web applications using modern JavaScript stacks.
Experience building scalable services using Node.js and frameworks such as Express.
Strong understanding of component design, separation of concerns, and application architecture.
Ability to contribute across the full stack.
Experience writing robust, efficient, and high-quality code.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with modern web tools and bundlers (npm, webpack, rollup, etc.).
Knowledge of monorepo package best practices.
Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
