This role focuses on the core logic, database architecture, and handling the spatial data requirements for a Backend & Data Engineer position.

Develop and maintain core backend logic.
Design and manage database architecture, specifically leveraging spatial data capabilities.
Implement REST APIs following OpenAPI 3.1 specifications.
Manage background workers and task queues.
Implement robust security measures including JWT/OAuth2 authentication.
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests.

Proficiency in Python 3.10+.
Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and indexing.
Expertise in PostGIS for handling geographic types and spatial queries (distance/intersection).
Experience with Celery and Redis for background task management.
Familiarity with REST API design principles (OpenAPI 3.1).
Experience implementing security standards like JWT/OAuth2.
Strong testing skills using Pytest.
