Job Description
Role Overview
1Fi is a next-generation affordability platform building at the intersection of fintech, lending, capital markets, and commerce. We are looking for high-energy SDEs / Founding Engineers to build our core tech team from scratch, working directly with the CTO and founding team to build products from 0 to 1 and scale core lending and checkout infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive web interfaces using React / Next.js
- Develop scalable backend APIs using Node.js / Express.js
- Connect frontend, backend, and databases for seamless product flows
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code
- Debug, optimize, and improve performance across the stack
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and full-stack development
- Experience with Next.js, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and REST APIs
- Familiarity with SQL / NoSQL databases
- Comfortable with DevOps tools and workflows such as Docker, Git/GitHub, and Kubernetes
- Builder mindset with experience in side projects, hackathons, or shipping products
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
