3.1 Talent Pool

When you create a DevsUnite account, your profile, resume, skills, and career preference information are retained in our Talent Pool. This means DevsUnite may proactively contact you, by email or in-app notification, about job openings, hiring campaigns, or opportunities we believe may be relevant to you, even for roles you have not applied to.

Talent Pool outreach comes only from DevsUnite. Being part of the Talent Pool does not mean we share your profile, resume, or contact details with any employer or third party. Your information is only shared with a specific employer when you choose to apply to their job listing, as described in Section 4.1 below.

You can opt out of Talent Pool outreach at any time by emailing team@devsunite.com, the same way you can opt out of any other marketing communications (Section 5.2).

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information in the following situations:

4.1 With Employers and Recruiters

When you apply for a job through our Service, we share your profile information, resume, and application details with the employer or recruiter who posted the job. You can control what information is visible to employers in your privacy settings.

4.2 With Service Providers

We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. Examples include payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, and marketing efforts.

4.3 With Business Partners

We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions that may be of interest to you.

4.4 With Other Users

  • Website Content: The Extension analyzes the structure and labels of the career portals you visit (such as Workday, Greenhouse, or Lever) to identify the correct fields for inputting your data.
  • Authentication Information: The Extension uses session tokens/cookies from devsunite.com to securely verify your identity and access your profile data.

14.2 Privacy Commitments

  • No Data Sale: We do not sell your personal data collected via the Extension to any third parties.
  • Limited Sharing: Your data is only shared with the specific job portals and employers that you explicitly choose to apply to using the Extension.
  • No Remote Code: The Extension does not download or execute remote code, ensuring all processing happens locally within your browser context for maximum security.
  • No Advertising: Data collected by the Extension is never used for personalized advertising or tracking outside of the job application process.
