Software Development Engineer (SDE) / Founding Engineer

Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) / Founding Engineer, you will join the core tech team to build products from 0 to 1 and scale them. You will work directly with the CTO and founding team to build the core systems powering fintech lending and checkout infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive web interfaces using React / Next.js
• Develop scalable backend APIs using Node.js / Express.js
• Connect frontend, backend, and databases for seamless product flows
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code
• Debug, optimize, and improve performance across the stack

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and full-stack development
• Experience with Next.js, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and REST APIs
• Familiarity with SQL / NoSQL databases
• Comfortable with DevOps tools and workflows such as Docker, Git/GitHub, and Kubernetes
• Builder mindset with experience in side projects, hackathons, or shipping products
