Software Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Software Developer Intern to join our development team. The intern will work closely with experienced developers to assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while gaining practical exposure to real-world projects and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining software applications and features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers.
• Support the development of responsive web applications and user interfaces.
• Participate in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of applications.
• Assist in integrating APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
• Perform unit testing and support quality assurance activities.
• Participate in code reviews and implement feedback.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver assigned tasks.
• Use version control systems such as Git/GitHub for source code management.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and software development best practices.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Next.js and PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of REST APIs and full-stack development concepts.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub and version control practices.
• Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Good communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and time management skills.
