Role Overview

AbsoluteHub is offering an open collaboration program designed for aspiring app developers to gain hands-on, real-world experience. This is a space for self-taught developers, bootcamp graduates, or students to write actual production code, build a professional portfolio, and learn by doing alongside our core team in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, user-friendly mobile screens for iOS or Android.
• Write clean code to implement app features and connect the front-end to backend APIs and databases.
• Run code on emulators and physical devices to troubleshoot crashes, fix bugs, and ensure smooth performance.
• Use Git and GitHub to manage version control and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Passionate about mobile development and eager to learn.
• Solid grasp of at least one mobile programming language or framework such as Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or Java.
• Familiarity with mobile UI design principles and application lifecycles.
• Curious, driven, and comfortable asking questions.

Nice to Have

• Experience building personal mobile projects.
• Knowledge of state management.
• Successful deployment of an app to the App Store or Google Play.
