Cloud Platform Engineer

Role Overview

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will design, build, test, and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for deploying infrastructure and platform environments, creating proofs of architecture to test viability, security, and performance, and ensuring seamless integration between cloud and on-premises systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud and on-premises systems.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and security.
• Document architecture designs and deployment processes for knowledge sharing.
• Assist junior team members in understanding cloud platform concepts and deployment strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Ability to design and validate architecture through proof of concept implementations.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting.
