Role Overview
Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. This role focuses on model-based development for BCM application software and automotive body electronics features.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow models for BCM application software and automotive body electronics features.
- Analyze system and software requirements and translate them into model-based design components, control logic, and state machines.
- Implement BCM functions such as lighting, wiper, washer, central locking, and power windows using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Perform model simulation, debugging, and functional validation using Model-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop environments.
- Support auto-code generation from Simulink models and coordinate with embedded software teams.
- Review model quality against modelling guidelines and naming conventions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify functional behavior and close technical points.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience required (4 to 6 years preferred in automotive embedded software).
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Hands-on experience in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
- Understanding of automotive ECU software development lifecycle.
