Custom Software Engineer

Role Overview

Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Perform defect analysis and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
• Perform API and database testing as required.
• Support release validation and ensure software meets defined quality criteria.
• Work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software QA, Testing, or Validation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
• Good knowledge of Python or another scripting/programming language.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or REST APIs.
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
