Role Overview

As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to align with specific business processes and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the solutions fit seamlessly within the operational framework. Your role includes continuous refinement and adaptation of software components to support evolving business objectives, ensuring that the applications remain efficient and effective in meeting organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
• Document technical specifications and application configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding project requirements and technical challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
• 15 years of full-time education required.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles and master data management processes.
• Experience in configuring and customizing SAP MDG applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to master data workflows and validations.
• Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP MDG and other enterprise systems.
• Understanding of data quality management and data lifecycle management within SAP environments.
