Job Description
Role Overview
As a Data Platform Engineer, you will assist with the data platform blueprint and design, encompassing all relevant components. You will collaborate closely with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models, supporting a robust and scalable data environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform independently and evolve into a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform components with business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data platform issues to maintain system reliability.
- Support junior team members through knowledge sharing and guidance on best practices.
- Continuously monitor and optimize data platform performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience with data pipeline development and orchestration.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services.
- Ability to write efficient, maintainable code for data transformations.
- Knowledge of version control systems and collaborative workflows.
