Data Platform Engineer

Role Overview

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will assist with the data platform blueprint and design, encompassing the relevant data platform components. You will collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models, supporting the overall architecture strategy to enable efficient data management and utilization.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Actively participate and contribute to team discussions.
• Provide solutions to work-related technical problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data platform components with business needs.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the data platform.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Continuously monitor and optimize platform performance to meet evolving project demands.

Requirements

• Minimum 7.5 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of specific experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Experience with data pipeline development and management within cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of data integration techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and big data processing.
• Ability to work with complex data models and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation to streamline data workflows.
