Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, your day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. You will focus on creating seamless workflows that enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment. Your role includes ensuring that the systems you build are robust, secure, and efficient, while collaborating with various teams to maintain and improve the development environment.
Responsibilities
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize development and deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist junior team members in understanding and adopting DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps.
- 15 years full time education.
- Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tools.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration and management.
- Knowledge of security best practices in software deployment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
