Mechanical Engineering Intern

Role Overview

This role involves supporting the engineering team with documentation, process creation, and quality inspection for components made of metal, rubber, and metal-bonded rubber.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Drawing of components and assemblies. These components are made in metal, rubber and metal bonded rubber.
• Making Product Manufacturing Process Sheets.
• Making Product Manufacturing Job Cards.
• Ensuring Production Job Cards are complete.
• Maintain item wise Production Job Cards for future reference.
• Changing Job cards as per requirement. Maintaining versions.
• Checking and inspection of products using measuring instruments.

Requirements

• Knowledge of MS Office, Internet, PDFs.
• Using Measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers, Thickness Gauge.
• Should be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Should be able to create drawing from article that has been provided.
• Working knowledge of Autocad / Solidworks. You should be able to quickly learn if training is provided for the same.
