Software Engineer – Robotics and Clinical Applications

Role Overview

The Software Engineer develops foundational software components that power robotics and enabling technology applications within clinical environments. This role covers the full SDLC, including research, design, implementation, and maintenance of shared software components used across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative clinical application architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain source code for shared data management components.
• Perform research and analysis to inform the design of foundational software for robotics.
• Participate in SDLC activities including code reviews, documentation, and defect management.
• Implement and maintain data architectures, including data models, formats, and schemas.
• Apply CI/CD practices to maintain reliable build and deployment pipelines.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Solid background working with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of SQL and SQLite databases.
• Experience managing data architecture and data models.
• Experience working with 3D geometry in software applications.
• University degree in a relevant discipline.

• Experience with CAD modeling and mesh processing.
