Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and proactive PHP Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between custom application development and modern e-commerce engineering. You will be responsible for building robust backend services using PHP and Laravel, creating highly customized WordPress experiences, and driving our e-commerce operations on the Shopify platform.

We are looking for a candidate who values the rigor of custom Laravel development but is equally comfortable navigating the ecosystems of WordPress and Shopify to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustom PHP & Laravel Development

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Build secure, clean, and maintainable PHP code following PSR standards and OOP practices.
• Develop, optimize, and document robust RESTful APIs for internal and external service integrations.
• Manage database architecture, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization for MySQL.

WordPress CMS Management

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, prioritizing security and performance over reliance on pre-built templates.
• Maintain, debug, and optimize existing WordPress and WooCommerce installations.
• Implement security best practices, perform core/plugin updates, and troubleshoot site-wide technical issues.
