Android Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Android Developer to join our technology team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing high-performance Android applications while working closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and other members of the development team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications.
• Build scalable, responsive, and high-performance mobile applications.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs/services.
• Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
• Debug and resolve application issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement secure authentication, payment gateways, notifications, and other required functionalities.
• Perform testing, debugging, and optimization across different Android devices and OS versions.
• Participate in application deployment and publishing on the Google Play Store.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other development team members.
• Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Android application development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Android Studio and Gradle.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and API integration.
• Experience with Firebase and push notifications.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab and version control.
• Understanding of Material Design and responsive UI development.
• Experience with local data storage such as Room/SQLite.
• Knowledge of application security and secure data handling.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs and payment gateways will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of debugging, performance optimization, and crash analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
