Role Overview
AESC is seeking an Energy Storage Solutions Engineer Intern for a full-time summer internship. This role involves participating in the design of overall energy storage system solutions, including system configuration and technology selection, to support the development of sustainable battery technologies.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design of energy storage system solutions based on technical requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical proposals and product documentation such as datasheets.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis for overseas energy storage markets.
- Interpret international standards and regulations including UL, NFPA, and IEC.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, product, and supply chain teams.
- Support customer due diligence and technical reviews.
- Assist the commercial team in optimizing technical agreements and contract templates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (strong research background) or Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Solid understanding of energy storage system architecture including PCS, battery packs, EMS, and containerized systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to new technologies.
