Unity Developer Intern

Role Overview

Affiefly Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a passionate and skilled Unity Game Developer Intern to join our game development team. We are seeking candidates with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Unity game development who have worked on Hyper-Casual, 2D, and 3D mobile games, particularly Water Sort Puzzle or similar puzzle/casual games. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to work on live game projects, collaborate with experienced developers, and gain practical exposure to the complete game development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize 2D and 3D mobile games using the Unity Engine.
• Build and enhance Hyper-Casual mobile games with engaging gameplay mechanics.
• Develop puzzle-based games such as Water Sort and similar casual game genres.
• Implement game mechanics, UI, animations, physics, and player interactions.
• Integrate assets, sound effects, animations, and visual effects into the game.
• Debug, test, and optimize game performance across Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and QA teams to deliver high-quality games.
• Participate in feature planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement of game architecture.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Unity Game Development.
• Strong proficiency in Unity Engine and C# programming.
• Experience developing Hyper-Casual, 2D, and 3D mobile games.
• Hands-on experience developing or working on Water Sort Puzzle games or similar casual puzzle games.
• Good understanding of Unity Physics, UI System, Animation, Prefabs, and Scene Management.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Ability to debug and optimize games for better performance and user experience.

• Basic understanding of game monetization and user retention strategies.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
