Junior QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Analyst with strong experience in Manual Testing and Selenium Automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing test cases, executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and developing automation scripts. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and System Testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Develop, execute, and maintain Selenium automation scripts.
• Create and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and TestNG/JUnit.
• Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
• Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
• Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and Data-Driven Frameworks.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Basic understanding of API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
