Executive / Intern – Application Development (Agribusiness Supply Chain)

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and technology-oriented Executive/Intern – Application Development (Agribusiness Supply Chain) to support the design, development, testing, and implementation of our digital agribusiness supply chain platform. The candidate will work closely with the business, technology, and operations teams to build user-centric solutions that improve procurement, logistics, inventory management, market linkage, and supply chain transparency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing web and mobile applications for agribusiness supply chain management.
• Build and maintain application modules for farmer registration, procurement, inventory, logistics, warehouse management, and order tracking.
• Develop user-friendly dashboards and reporting tools.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services where required.
• Test applications, identify bugs, and support debugging activities.
• Understand agribusiness workflows and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support database management and data validation.
• Assist in implementing AI-enabled features such as price prediction and demand forecasting.
• Coordinate with UI/UX designers, developers, field teams, and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience for Executive roles; final-year students or recent graduates for Intern roles.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, Java, or PHP.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
