APIM & Intergration Engineer

Role Overview

As an APIM & Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining API gateways and management platforms. You will manage the full API lifecycle, ensuring scalability, reliability, and adherence to organizational standards while supporting both REST and SOAP services.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain API gateways and API management platforms.
• Manage API lifecycle from design through deployment, versioning, and retirement.
• Define and enforce standards for REST APIs, policies, and lifecycle management.
• Design and implement APIs using RESTful principles and OpenAPI Specification.
• Implement robust security protocols, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
• Monitor API performance, availability, and usage to optimize for scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and provide documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in API Management and API Gateway administration.
• Expertise in RESTful API design, HTTP/S protocols, and JSON.
• Ability to support both REST and SOAP services.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and distributed systems.
• Experience with Azure APIM and Azure cloud services.
