DevOps Engineer (Industrial Digital Solutions)

**Job Description:**

### **Key Responsibilities**

• **Cloud Infrastructure:** Maintain scalable infrastructure on **AWS** (using services like EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc).
• **Container Orchestration:** Deploy and manage Kafka and related microservices within containerized environments using **Kubernetes** and **Red Hat OpenShift** .
• **Automation \& IaC:** Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management scripts using **Ansible** and **Terraform** to automate cluster provisioning, scaling, and patching.
• **CI/CD Integration:** Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) for automated deployments and testing of stream\-processing applications.
• **Monitoring \& Alerting:** Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting for the Kafka ecosystem using tools like **Prometheus** , **Grafana** , **Splunk** .
• **Performance Tuning:** Monitor cluster performance, optimize AWS resources/ costs.
• **Security \& Compliance:** Enforce security best practices, including RBAC, ACLs, TLS/SSL encryption, and secure secret management.
• **Collaboration:** Work closely with software engineers, data engineers, and architects to support the integration of Kafka into enterprise applications.

### **Required Qualifications**

• **Experience:** 4\+ years in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure, with a minimum of 2 years specifically focused on Jenkins, EKS pipeline.
