Job Description
Role Overview
Join the Data Services Team at Akamai to build high-reliability, massive-scale data services on the Akamai Platform. You will work within a cross-functional scrum team to own the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of high-volume and high-velocity data pipelines that power the Akamai Control Center.
Responsibilities
- Developing highly scalable and reliable managed data services.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD environments.
- Contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience developing software in object-oriented languages such as Java or Python using Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience developing UI applications using Angular, React.js, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with networking protocols including DNS, HTTP, TCP, and UDP.
