Software Engineer

Role Overview

Join the AppBattery Team at Akamai, responsible for the quality of a suite of highly available services and systems consumed by core platform teams running the CDN solution. You will create, enhance, and sustain software solutions to meet user needs, optimize system functionality, and deliver dependable, scalable, and high-quality applications.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts and design principles.
• Create and sustain software solutions that align with organizational objectives.
• Partner with diverse teams to deliver scalable applications following industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Expertise in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in the tech industry.
• Expertise in programming with Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.
• Expertise with the observability stack including Loki, Grafana, Fluentbit, Logstash, and Prometheus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Typescript and React development.
• Expertise in creating APIs with the Flask framework.
