Backend Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer Intern to join our engineering team. You will work with experienced developers to build, maintain, and improve backend services and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Debug issues and fix backend bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Learn and work with Rust for backend development.
• Assist in improving application performance and reliability.
• Follow best practices for security, testing, and version control.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Basic understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures.
• Willingness to learn Rust.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and work in a team.

Good to Have

• Experience with Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, or Docker.
• Any personal backend project or GitHub repository.
• Basic knowledge of Rust.

Education

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
