Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

AllianceTech is seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to work as a dedicated member of the engineering team building RebelBase. RebelBase is a New York-based online platform designed to empower entrepreneurs through learning, collaboration, community, AI, and gamification. You will help build and evolve a product that has a direct impact on entrepreneurs worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across the full application stack.
• Build intuitive user experiences and scalable backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Debug and solve problems across the frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to continuously improve the product.
• Help improve our architecture, tooling, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Professional experience building production software (typically 3+ years).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building modern web applications.
• Comfortable learning new languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience using AI development tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or similar) effectively.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React.
• Experience with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience building AI-powered features or integrating LLM APIs.
• Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms.
