Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with a solid background in C programming, embedded systems development, and communication/network protocols. You will be responsible for firmware development on microcontroller platforms, real-time operating system (RTOS) integration, and working with hardware interfaces like I2C, SPI, and CAN.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware in C++
- Implement and integrate communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc.
- Develop and troubleshoot network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet (basic stack integration)
- Work in RTOS environments such as VxWorks, or custom RTOS (preferred)
- Interface with sensors, peripherals, and communication modules
- Collaborate with hardware and system engineers for board bring-up and system testing
- Write low-level drivers and perform hardware debugging
Requirements
- Solid background in C programming and embedded systems development
- Experience with communication/network protocols
- Ability to work with hardware interfaces and perform hardware debugging
