Software Development Engineer 3

Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer 3 (Full Stack Engineer), you'll build and enhance software solutions that improve the travel experience for customers worldwide. You'll work with Java, Angular, cloud technologies, and microservices to create reliable, scalable, and secure applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Amadeus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Angular, Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and microservices architecture.
• Review business and technical requirements, assess implementation approaches, and contribute to technical solution proposals.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable software and database solutions aligned with Amadeus engineering standards.
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing while helping maintain software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, contribute to product validation activities, and maintain clear technical documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience developing full-stack applications using Java and Angular (latest versions).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working with cloud technologies and delivering scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
