Role Overview

Join the Amazon Financial Technology Team to design and develop sophisticated, scalable software solutions that power global financial transactions. You will be at the forefront of creating next-generation distributed systems using state-of-the-art AWS cloud services to solve complex technological challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level and low-level design and architecture for distributed financial systems using modern AWS technologies.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and reliable software solutions for accounting and financial operations.
• Drive architecture and technology choices to ensure alignment with long-term platform goals and scalability.
• Implement engineering best practices including automation, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop integration frameworks and APIs to streamline workflows and improve system interoperability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Product, and Platform Engineering.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice to Have

• Experience or exposure to AI/ML technologies, particularly in building intelligent or predictive financial systems.
• Experience in Machine Learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing.
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
